IT professionals remain somewhat negative when considering the impact to the IT profession as a whole. More than half believe outsourcing limits available IT jobs and fosters lower employee morale. But when asked specifically what impact outsourcing has had on their career paths, more than a third reporting getting new and expanded responsibilities and 7% received promotions.
